Customer Sales & Retention Specialist - Food & Lifestyle - Dutch/Flemish Speaker

About the role

As a Dutch/Flemish-speaking Customer Sales & Retention Specialist in the food & lifestyle industry, you will be responsible for contacting former customers, understanding their needs, and re-engaging them through a sales-driven approach. This position combines customer service and sales, with a strong focus on customer reactivation and conversion.

About the project

For this project in the food & lifestyle industry, we require candidates with a strong sales profile. The role mainly consists of reactivating former customers. Candidates should ideally have at least 1 year of sales experience or demonstrate strong resilience and sales capabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Reach out to former customers via outbound calls, email, and chat
• Identify reasons for customer inactivity
• Handle objections and successfully win back customers
• Present relevant offers and solutions
• Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction
• Meet individual and team performance targets

Candidate profile

• Fluent in Dutch/Flemish (native or C1+)
• Fluency in English (mandatory)
• Previous sales experience (minimum 1 year preferred)
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to work with targets and KPIs
• Resilience and a proactive attitude

Contract conditions

Lisbon, Portugal – Modern office in a well-connected area

12 months renewable automatically

Schedule

40h/week – Rotational shifts, Monday to Friday (08:00–21:00)
