About the role
For the pre-opening of a prestigious luxury hotel in Istanbul, scheduled to welcome its first guests in April 2026, we are seeking a professional, service-driven Receptionist to join the Front Office team. The successful candidate will be fluent in German and English, with a third language considered a strong asset. This is a rare opportunity to be part of an exciting hotel opening from day one, shaping the guest experience and contributing to the establishment of luxury service standards in one of the world's most vibrant cities.
Key responsibilities
- Welcome guests with professionalism and warmth, ensuring a luxury guest experience from arrival to departure
- Handle check-in and check-out procedures efficiently and with attention to detail
- Manage guest requests, inquiries, and complaints with discretion and care
- Coordinate closely with Front Office and other hotel departments to ensure seamless operations
- Maintain accurate reservations and guest records using hotel management systems
- Support pre-opening activities, training sessions, and operational setup
- Consistently uphold the hotel's luxury service standards and brand values
Candidate profile
- Fluency in German and English is mandatory
- A third language (e.g., Turkish, French, Arabic) is highly appreciated
- Previous experience in luxury or upscale hospitality is an advantage
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- High level of attention to detail and customer orientation
- Professional appearance and demeanor aligned with luxury hospitality standards
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays
